My name is Harvey Myers, CEO and Lead Developer.

I've had the good fortune to spend most of my career developing vertical market software from scratch for a variety of business and platform types. Though much of my work was as a solo developer, many experiences broadened my awareness.

I started writing COBOL about when Microsoft was contemplating MS-DOS, all still in the lab.

After 6 years of being THE developer,

I went to work for a Fortune 500 firm called Collier-Jackson with dozens of developers who were enhancing high-ticket software for national mid-sized firms on HP3000 and DEC/VAX computers. With 2 divisions, one creating, installing, training on our Newspaper software, and the other division for financial, human resource and payroll software, sold separately but also often packaged with newspaper installations.
Over my decade with the firm, I worked on over half of the products, as well as the R&D and Standards team, providing core logic shared by all applications.
An injury changed my trajectory and sent me back into solo contract programming.

I experienced some tough years that cut my productivity considerably due to a chronic pain condition that I still wrestle with today. 

However, I don't give up.

The story of how I got connected with Blazor ties into ways that I overcame most of my pain to be able to work productively again. I didn't like the way things went in the software business, and working within a broad, single platform is my happy place. Blazor is really great and able to literally do anything that can be done.
